The Center for the Prevention of Abuse and Neglect was honored to work with the Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force in June 2021 to produce a report on the organization’s impact over the last 20 years. It was a project especially close to our hearts, since former CPAN Co-Director Phyllis Barkhurst was one of the Task Force’s founders.

The report, “Transforming Space and Place: The Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force – A 20-Year Retrospective” is now available on the SATF website here. Based on 27 interviews with key players in the history of the Task Force, the report highlights the game-changing nature of the Task Force’s work and looks ahead to the future of violence prevention.
