Emily Johnson (she/her) has spent over twenty years working with youth and families in public and alternative educational settings as well as in the nonprofit sector. She is an award-winning classroom educator with experience creating supportive, inclusive learning environments in the Pacific Northwest and in 2018 was recognized with the Excellence in Education Crystal Apple Award. She also brings passionate expertise to the development and support of programs focused on child and family well-being. Emily prides herself on leveraging research-based tools and methods to support school staff and the students they serve so that they can be successful both in and out of the classroom. Her significant acumen was most recently recognized with the 2023 University of Oregon Outstanding Employee Award.

 

Outside of work you will most likely find Emily spending time with her family, enjoying the beauty of Oregon and hosting gatherings for her faith community.
