Jaclyn Bogner

Graduate Student Program Assistant

Jaclyn is a doctoral student in the counseling psychology program at the University of Oregon. She is currently a practicum therapist at the Child & Family Center where she provides strengths-based clinical services to children and families.

Jaclyn’s newfound passion for the prevention of abuse and treatment of trauma symptoms began while taking Dr. Jeff Todahl’s ‘Trauma, Violence, and Healing’ course. Since taking this course, Jaclyn has begun providing trauma-informed clinical services to children, contributing to data analysis for the Protect Our Children qualitative study, and starting her dissertation work on identifying physiological signs of trauma in adolescent females exposed to ACEs. The ultimate goal of this work is to streamline trauma assessment procedures among adolescent females and facilitate healing.
